Where It Began

From Cape Cod To The California Desert

In 2005 Marilynn bought her first short term rental in Cape Cod, then shortly purchased a second in 2006 both of which she transformed both inside and out. It was during that time that she realized her talent for interior design and pursued a career in design that resulted in being featured on HGTV and House Beautiful UK among others. She quickly realized she was outperforming her market due to her commitment to the guest experience and beautiful interiors. In 2016 - 2017 she bought 3 tiny homes in the California desert. These were her Mod Pod Rentals, which were each uniquely designed, the 1950's Retro Pod, the 1970's Urban Pod and the Regency Pod. In 2018 she added her personal home near LAX as well.

Her passion is sharing the life-altering power of beautiful interiors, curiosities that spark wonder and joy and thoughtful details throughout the home to surprise and delight her guests. Since day one, she learned the importance of a beautifully designed space and an amazing guest experience. Over the years, she has become an expert in guest experience and hospitality, wowing her guests for a five-star review even when things don't go perfectly. Her short term rentals are a way for her to pour her love and care into her guests and it is incredibly rewarding. Today she is solely focused on hosting Chateau Vigne and creating magical stays for her guests.
